Los Angeles, CA - Ozzy Osbourne makes triumphant return to the stage after 'worst year' of his life as he joins Post Malone for a performance at the American Music Awards. Veteran rocker Ozzy Osbourne took the stage for the first time in nearly a year during the AMAs. The former Black Sabbath frontman, 70, was ready to rock as he performed Post Malone's Take What You Want From Me along with trackmate Travis Scott. The Prince Of Darkness' wife Sharon, son Jack, and daughter Kelly were there to support him, looking on anxiously from the audience before Ozzy began to belt out the chart-topping track. Though he's taken several hiatuses from touring, the singer didn't seem to be out of practice as his voice was loud and clear as he took the song to its chorus. While his voice was strong, Ozzy was allowed a bit of rest as he sat down on a concrete throne during the start of his performance. Sharon watched on, nodding her head to the beat while clasping her hands together apprehensively. Jack, his new girlfriend and sister Kelly all sang along and danced. As regular Post Malone collaborator WATT soared into a guitar solo, Ozzy stood behind and waved his hands while flames engulfed the stage. It was the first time the rocker - real name John Michael Osbourne - had performed since late 2018. Ozzy's series of health setbacks began after he was taken to the hospital to treat an infection in his hand. His injury forced him to postpone the start of his No More Tours 2 tour. After honoring those delayed dates, he was then taken to hospital again in early 2019 where he was diagnosed with a severe upper-respiratory infection, which again forced him to push back the UK and European leg of his concert series. The Crazy Train hitmaker then landed himself in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to complications from the flu but was released in mid-February to continue his recovery at home. Then, while recovering he sustained serious injuries from a fall at his LA home that required him to undergo three different surgeries, according to wife Sharon. Ozzy described 2019 as one of the 'most f***** up years of [his] life' during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Ozzy’s Boneyard. The heavy metal legend said: "It's been one of the most f***** up years of my life. I broke my neck in January, I had pneumonia, I've had f****** blood clots. It's been an eventful year, to say the least. I have been in such pain this year."
